The constellation of Venus Rising Festival stars reaches full brightness gradually. Stay alert and follow the signals from our orbit.
Magda
We are thrilled to announce that a world-class artist is joining the constellation of stars of the first edition of Venus Rising Festival.
Magda is an artist who needs no introduction to regular visitors of the world's most important festivals. Her appearances in Poland are a true rarity – every Polish booking of Magda is a celebration for fans of the finest electronic music. Her career gained momentum in 1998, when as a protégée of Richie Hawtin she joined the Minus collective. Although the world came to know her as a key figure in that legendary team, Magda quickly proved that her artistic horizon reaches far beyond. Over the years she has consistently built her own independent path, becoming a synonym of courage and quality, crowned by such prestigious honours as the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and a historic set at the 20th anniversary of the Time Warp festival. In her sets Magda connects tracks in unexpected ways, building a narrative that holds tension from the first to the last minute. Magda is an artist whose work goes far beyond the boundaries of classic DJing and production. Her calendar is a map of the most important points on the global club and festival scene.
La Fleur
La Fleur is an artist who combines elegance with the raw energy of the dancefloor.
The Swedish artist has traveled an extraordinary path - from certified pharmacist, through a long-term residency at the legendary Berlin club Watergate, to a world-renowned producer and founder of the prestigious Power Plant Records label. Her style is a unique fusion of house and techno, often described as 'orbital' - full of space, hypnotic melodies, and impeccable technique. La Fleur has performed on the world's most important stages, collaborated with labels such as Kompakt, Cocoon, and Last Night on Earth, and her work and talent have been recognized with the prestigious P3 Guld award (Sweden's equivalent of the Grammy). Today, La Fleur is a globally recognized brand. She regularly shares her music at major international festivals such as Sónar By Night, Awakenings, Creamfields, and Life Festival. On Friday evening at Venus Rising Festival, La Fleur will take us on a unique journey into the depths of sound - a hypnotic and captivating culmination of the first day of our adventure.
Cassy
Cassy is a figure who needs no introduction to visitors of the world's most important dancefloors.
For over two decades she has consistently built her position as a DJ, producer and curator of sound, combining club sensibility with uncompromising selection. Her name has long appeared on the line-ups of leading festivals and legendary clubs. In 2020 the artist made a conscious reset. Today she speaks about DJing from a perspective of greater mindfulness and humility towards the dancefloor. She understands the dynamics of the night, the tension of the crowd and the significance of the right moment. Her approach can be summed up in one sentence: less ego, more truth. This is a philosophy that translates into hypnotic, organic sets – built patiently, with attention to dramaturgy and authentic energy. 2023 brought Cassy a series of releases on her Kwench Records label. Reaching for classic tools – including the iconic Roland TR-808 drum machine – Cassy returns to the roots and aesthetics that shaped her during her Berlin years. Minimalist form, raw groove, subtle vocals and the courage to expose her individual production style give her an exceptional character. Cassy does not follow trends or tick off career milestones according to external standards. She chooses authenticity and creative freedom – representing herself honestly and without filters, both behind the decks and in the studio. Her sets are a dialogue with the audience, her productions a testament to the love of club culture. Cassy is one of the most distinctive and respected figures in world electronic music.
Lika
Lika is one of the most distinctive representatives of the new wave of European house - an artist who combines stage energy with deep musical sensitivity.
Based in Munich, she builds her sets creating a space where emotion and rhythm remain in perfect balance. Her foundation is classical musical education - piano and vocal experience translate into conscious narrative guidance and exceptional harmonic sensitivity. Thanks to this, each of her performances has a coherent dramaturgy and authentic identity, going beyond the standard club format. The dynamic development of her career is confirmed by the growing international community around her online channel, which in a short time has attracted over 110,000 subscribers from around the world. Lika systematically marks her presence on the European club scene from Germany and Austria to Greece, and upcoming performances in Poland and Croatia confirm her growing popularity. Currently, Lika is intensively developing her production work on original material that is a natural extension of her stage aesthetics. At Venus Rising Festival, Lika represents a new generation of artists who boldly redefine the contemporary club music scene.
Roma Leopard
Roma Leopard is an artist whose musical profile is defined by sunny, organic groove.
In 2024, she joined the Soul Service collective, becoming the youngest person in its lineup. The group has been popularizing funk and soul for over two decades, including through the cult Polish Funk release series, bringing back recordings from Polish phonographic archives. Her sets are a smooth journey through disco, soul, funk, latin, and afrobeat. Roma builds energetic narratives based on the sounds of the 70s and 80s. Roma Leopard will open Venus Rising Festival with a vinyl set.
Diana d'Rouze
One of the most recognisable figures on the Polish club scene.
Behind the decks since 1997. She has honed her craft all over the world – including in Ibiza, the United Kingdom and the USA. She has performed alongside the greatest legends of the world, such as Carl Cox, Sven Väth and Paul Kalkbrenner. A resident and regular fixture at the most important Polish clubs. The artist is known for her extraordinary sense of selection – her sets are dynamic, emotionally rich stories in which she seamlessly blurs the boundaries between classic Techno, Progressive and Tech House. As she puts it herself: "You don't have to confine yourself to one genre. You can build your style on diversity and constantly surprise people."
madz.xcx
madz.xcx is one of the most interesting figures in the new wave of Poznań DJing.
She debuted in 2023, but her style has been shaped on dancefloors since 2018. Years spent "in the crowd" allowed her to understand the dynamics of the night and translate it into her own unique language of sounds. Her selection has already resonated within the walls of Poland's most important clubs, such as Schron, Hub5 and LAB. The artist also has highly-appreciated video sets for the platforms noxnox.tv and B.L.K.N. Sets by @madz.xcx are the essence of summer freedom, rhythm and positive message. Expect high temperatures and sounds that will stay with you long after the festival.
Joana
Joana is a DJ, producer and promoter closely connected with Polish electronics for nearly two decades.
Her sets are dynamic stories told through sound — full of melody, tension and unexpected twists. Based on house music, she freely crosses its boundaries, reaching for techno and hard groove. Behind this style are specific scenes and strong points on the map: performances on the Audioriver, Open'er and Wisłoujście stages, sets in cult clubs in Poland and Berlin, and her role as resident and co-founder of Poznań's TAMA club. On May 1st during Venus Rising, Joana will seduce us with deep, melodic arrangements, virtuoso tempo juggling and atmosphere that you will remember for a long time.
